Plumeria Dreams This painting attempts to capture the incredible experience of waking up in Hawaii to the smell of plumerias and birds singing. I’ve never slept as good as I did in Hawaii and I would often have powerful visionary dreams. I had the opportunity to live in a tree house on the rainy side and would be rocked to sleep every night in the arms of three huge mango trees. The frogs would croak and the tropical breezes would caress my skin. Sleeping was truly an erotic experience, which plumeria dreams captures well. V. L. Christian Text comes with cards and prints |
