The Sunflower Goddess The Sunflower Goddess is a representation of authentic self love simply because she is able to fully receive God’s love. As humans we are constantly seeking a grounded sense of self— a place between shame and arrogance. To often, we are taught to feel shame about our God given gifts, or, we assume an attitude of arrogance. Either position is destructive and not how God intended us to be. At some point in our lives, each of us needs to come to a place of acceptance and learn to view ourselves as God does. The sunflower Goddess is who she is and is able to shine in all her splendor and glory with out feeling arrogant or shameful. She is proud to be God’s unique and beautiful expression of love.
