Transformation

Father/mother God  help me to heal the wounds of love
for my soul is weary and heavy with grief
Restore my soul as I let go of the people and things that I love
For although my soul hungers for change, I am afraid.

May your loving presence be with me as I die yet another death
for I need the courage to fall without regret like a leaf.
Show me a glimpse of hope as I will need an anchor in this time of grief
for my soul yearns to grow stronger even though I am weak.

I give unto you this white rose as a symbol of my letting go.
I ask for the courage of butterfly to guide me through this transformation
And for the assistance of frog to call to the rain for cleansing.
I cry out for fish medicine that they might bring sustenance to my weary
soul. For I know I am not alone, but am apart of a larger system that also
dies and is reborn.
